You didn't "do the UV thing" right. Unfortunately I can't help you there, just play with the parameters.

parameters is a word. Simple vocabulary really. It means statistics.

People are so nice on these forums. Well done to all those that flamed and stomped on this guys first attempt in Max. Im so proud of you.

Mate, if you download the video tutorials by Kirk4 (available in tutorials section of halomods.com) and run through those, you will learn a lot about max in a short space of time.

Then, once you've done that, check the material ID of your base. Make sure that all the faces of the base have the same material ID, ie: 1 and then apply the material. After that, with the faces still selected, apply a UVWMap. Box map should do it. It will be really simple, but its a start ;)

BTW: If you don;t know what Im talking about ^^, download the tutorial vids and run through them, you will understand then ;)

Good luck making maps!! :D

Dont look at me, i didnt flame him or think of flaming him..... Cool idea having the base as a pyramid, someone should do a Halo egypt map, a Halo arctic map, a Halo aztec ruins map and a Halo New New York map
