Gross Water

In Halo, you tend only to see friendly, clean water. Is it possible to make a darker, nurkier, muddier water very easily? I can only think of one instance where the water color is any differentin Halo, and that is the coolant pools in Keyes.

A good example of what I'm aiming for is int he darker terrain of Zanzibar. The map I'm working on has a Zanzibar style feel, and is equally dark and beaten, and muddy. Since no one will be easily able to reach the water, so I might just run a plane a few inches beneath the water with a darker brown, but I'm not sure how that would work, or if it would.

Any help is appreciated.

Sure, it would have something to do with the shaders, just fiddle around a bit.

try the coolint that comes out of the ship in the level keyes.that looks good
like a liquid airhead
