DOES ANY ONE KNOW WHAT THE -H LINE COMAND OPTION IS

sry i do know better but the help section is a ghost town, the reson im asking is becuse i just downloaded Gmax and i hit the ok or start using Gmax button and before i could it loaded the program this box poped up saying:interactive 3D render initialization failed. please chech your devise settings by using the -H comand line option. any help would be apreciated.

maybe you should re-install some drivers or check their website in the technical support section. idunno, i just use milkshape, and all i do is model

yea same i have milk shape too but some one said to me i shoud try Gmax out its the gratest, so i did well its not so grate for me, owell ill try there faq section and tech see wut i see and if nuthing can fix the problem
then adios gmax.
by the way how does a hex editer differ from halo map tools, is it the same better or wores cuz i wana try a hex edit just for fun

gmax is pretty good, although I find 3ds max 6 to be pretty good, becuz its simpler (and if you are about to accuse me of talking about warez, 1 Im not, 2, you dont have to pay the full $3400 to get it

)

3ds max is that much!!!whoa!!!
gtw: i think hmt is easier b/c it lists all the stuff, you don't have to look at a whole page of numbers, and it makes editing easier and puts it into context in compliance with how we think, not how computers think

Well i just downloaded hex work shop. and made a mod, man the was frustrating, looks like i gota long road ahead of me using a hex editor

yea ur right it is now that im not so tired and can uderstand wut i was reading, yep it is kinda simple

and fun
*edit* one thing thoe, can some one tell me why i need to close the map in order to replace !another! off set value( like i open the map in hek work shop then replace an off set value but in order to find anuther off set i have to close out the map and then re-open it
