Grenades go through parts of my base...

I am making a map (Death Basin) and on parts of the base you can throw grenades through the floor. However, on other parts they bounce like normal. The warthog wheels also sink some on the problem areas. Please tell me how to make it so the grenades will not go through the base. BTW I am using 3DS Max.

Yeah i have the same problem with part of my map too. I think its just because your walls/floor aren't thick enough.

thick enough!? they should be paper thin.....if you made your map correctly. it has to do with the .scenario_structure_bsp

Umm, gamble, it has nothing to do with thinkness, the collision model got screwed up, so the grenades are never colliding with the base...they are going straight through...

Thanks I didn't even think of the collision model. How can I edit this?

Just try to rebuild your map...and do it right...

Do you mean just export it to a .JMS again? Because there has to be some way to edit the collision models without remaking the entire map.

Yea sorby, I have been having the same problems with my map, which currently is in the early alpha stage.....expect my problem is much more widespread in my level. It happens all over the level... :(

BTW, Nice map so far Sorby. Can't wait for the final version. It'll be awesome. :)

But back on topic, please, anyone who knows the answer to this problem take the minute to post the solution.

what i meant was that 2 was are back to back, like one has normals facing one way, and the other wall has normals facing the other way and they are right on top of each other,or like .01 away
