Color problem with photoshop CS...

Alright, I have this weird problem in Photoshop CS. I see colors differently. I was watching kirks tutorial and I tried to find a gray like his but they all have this reddish color to them. I have tried taking screenies of a gray color then entering the RGB value but it always shows up red. I can't figure out what is wrong.
