HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

So I'm going to give map making a try with GMax, but I was wondering if the basic download from discreet will be all I need, or if I need to go find some other plug-ins to make this work. Also, from looking on the forum it looks like there isn't a plug-in yet for using GMax with HEK. If I'm wrong about this, where can I find it, and if its true does anyone have an idea of when one might become availible?

there is no .jms exporter for gmax

actually there is one being worked on by xxy on the gbx forums. don't have the link tho sorry. just go to the gbx forums and search under gmax or plugin. you'll probably find it. it's almost done but xxy says that tool won't compile correctly with it yet. almost done tho.
