Exporting Trouble

When ever I try to export my map as a JMS file, I get an application error and the 3ds max shutsdown. Does anyone know how to fix this?

i had the same problem for so long. make sure your level is linked to your reference frame. if it is and it still doenst work, it usually means that some textures are incorrectly applied. i never actually figured out how to fix this but try Kirks tut videos. i followed those exactly and it worked just fine.
