Just wondering.....

i know how to skin, but it's hard to skin the warthog cause it's slip up into peices. i was just wondering if there was an easyer way to identify what each peice on the warthog is so it's easier to skin, thanx

wat i do is just put different numbers all over the skin and then play it in game, record where all the #s are and then do a good skin. I heard the other day about a 3d painting prog. but i dont know anytihng about it.
