Re-skinning a hog, need some help
well, i have been staring at the bit map for the hog in PS for like an hour now. it is fucking impossible to tell what it what. can anyone help me with a way to tell what part on there goes to what part of the car. the only thing i have been able to identify is the seats and the whinch spool. Im getting a little pissed now... also, what is the option to make it chage each picture according to what you do to the big one?

Here is a .jpg of the template I made for A camo skin series i'm working on.
I used Paths in Photo shop to trace then cut the bitmap.
You can mod the file then save as .dds
hope this helps you out.

Hey! Black Light.
Google sounds like where you can get information faster..
I thought about making a quick tutorial on paths, but I'm sure there is someone on the net that has already made one.
But if you can't find anything lemme know and I would'nt mind explaining what I've learned.
Also I find that the more I just mess around in photo shop or any other program the more I learn.
So just try clicking on buttons you would'nt normally click on and also try messing in the Image,Layer and Filter sub menus.
Image>adjust>hue saturation or brightness contrast are things I use alot.
Layers help out so much and add alot of range, adjusting opacity etc.
As far as being able to pick out which part of the bit map is mapped to which part of the model. Alot of trial and error and also looking at the .dds file and screen shots next to eachother helps me out alot.
rock n roll
