beretta 9000 in progess

Finish a new model/mesh? Got something you're working on? Finish a new map? Here's the place to post it for feedback and whatnot.

It's good, but I don't think you should have made the same weapon as the tutorial. You don't learn as much.

I watched that same tutorial, but I modeled a different gun after watching it. Instead of following it, just watch all the videos then put them away and model something else.

he's doing fine. it's all mileage, so when it's said and done, he's getting better by doing this then moving on to another model.

you've got a lot of proportions and dimensions off, but you've done well with the details. i'm known to spam threads with links to that tutorial set, so i'll just take the credit and say you're welcome. hahaha. just keep practicing. now you can understand the techniques involved in efficient plane modeling. keep it up, work hard.

Dude. No. Do you even know who Katarn and Snaf are? They are some of the few 1337est modelers that have ever set foot in CE. =D

i think its a pretty good model. in my opinion, i would make a hole for where the the bullet is supposed to be shot out of.

great model overall, its seriously better than what i could do :P

A hole in the barrel isn't needed for video games. Since it's rarely seen ingame, a skin looks fine, if not better imo. Model looks good for a learner, keep up the spirit. You keep going and you'll be better.
