It's ok, good for a first, but maybe add water so its not a floating Air Craft "Carrier".

what do you guys like better: grassy hills, sandy hills, or cliffs?

Needs a sand texture under te water. Its very unateral to have grass under water, but you can have a Rockey cliff, then runs into sand once water comes.

ya, its not supposed to have grass underwater, the bitmap screwed up. so im just going to have all sand and then some water and some rocky cliffs.

you make get an open edge error if your water is appart of the BSP. Water has to be a seperate plane. So just drag a large square plane larger than the skybox and make that your water. Also make sure your water materia is the same name as the texture. so like

Code: Select all

water!$
or w/e the texture name is.
