Importing a model made in Lightwave

I use Lightwave for any modeling I do (since I don't have the money for 3DMax or anything like that...), and recently I tried to remodel the shotgun a bit, then import it back into HMTv3 (which I used to pull the model out in the first place).
I didn't create any more polygons or points in the new model...just adjusted it a little bit. When I tried to import it back into HMT, it gave me this error...

Anyone know what I did wrong? This was my process:
1) Export the model with HMT
2) Open it up in Lightwave
3) Adjust the model, but not add or detract anything from it
4) Save the model as a .OBJ, NOT a Lightwave model
5) Open up HMT and attempt to import the model in place of where I pulled it from in the first place (yes, I was attempting to do it over the same model as before)
6) Get the error
Any ideas?
