Hi. Some people may remember me but I doubt it. I have been gone for a couple months and I hope to start modding Halo and stuff again. I have decided to try to use SketchUp and I made a gun called the Tavor. It was my first time using SketchUp and I think it came out well. I have seen the real Tavor on FutureWeapons and I decided to try to make it on SketchUp so here are some pictures.

Please rate it. Remember that this is my first time using SketchUp.

Looks very good for using sketchup. I use sketchup it my CAD class, and that looks like it took some time to make.

I think it only took like 3-5 hours. I'm not positive because I made it like a month ago or so.

Is that the program you can use to create buildings for google earth? Looks good for a first try with a program for buildings :P . You should make that the model of your house.

Thanks for the comments. I might import this to 3ds max and fix it up so it can be imported to Halo. I also want to make the sniper rifle called the AS-50 which can shoot up to 2000 yards but I can't find any good pictures to use for references.

EDIT: I can't export it to 3ds max since I need SketchUp Pro to export the model in a format that 3ds max would be able to use. Unless someone wants to take the model and export it as a .3ds file.

it looks like you got the details good but the edges are to boxy

What he said. If you could round out the edges a little it'd be pretty nice looking.
