its kind of a crude model
you should work on making the gun more detailed.. but watch the poly count.. i think the AR has too much

if HEK does ever come out

you could use that model as like a sniper paintball gun.

You should call that the Battle SMG. It looks like the Battle Rifle and the Sub Machine Gun mixed.

Better than I could ever do...but yeah, give it grooves and stuff.

Try working with more planes, and editing the vertices then using solely cyliders, rectangular prisms, etc.
good start though

i suggest using the line tool for the handle

and i suggest u dont listen to them haha, on a gun u never u a plane, the line too is ok but its much easier to use poly modeling to get the effect that u want, except for a barrel, ull be wanting just to use a box with poly modeling, u have a wider range of options to work with.

No offence it sucks but you ar estill learning, it will come. But dont use a box for the barrel. Cylinder 12 sides cut and weld to the base of the gun. It will look a lot better, splines are shit. Don't use them on a gun, just cut into the mesh and then extrude that out. It will look a lot nicer

Beastman, first of all I don't see anything about welding. and please stop trying to act l337 and shit about modeling. Because you act like you know a lot but I don't see u with anything to show

uhh i didnt say that because U DONT NEED TO, all these n00bs thinking u must wield all this stuff because its in tuts made by those that dont know what they are doing. The times that u would want to are when u want them to be one object and do some modeling where they are connected, but if its just a cylinder connected to the body of the gun then theres no need, itll be easier on u down the road when applying a skin wielding often screws up tiled maps, the uvw box map usually cant handle it correctly, and even specifically made skins for it will look better if they are seperate.
