yo can someone post a tut on how to add a texture to a weapon because i have alot of guns and i add the texture to it in milkshape but if i save it and open it again its gone and the texture is not in the game



and i was wondering how i could change the way mc holds his guns because i wanna add more rifles and i want him to hold the rifle like he hold the br or carbine could i just copy the meta of the br and paste it over the smg? then would he hold the smg like a br or wut but please help im tryin to figure this stuff out pleeeeeeeease post if u no

if you just want to skin a weapon, there's plenty of tutorials in here, all you need is HMT and photoshop or paintshop.

i'm not completely posotive about the second thing. i suppose it'd be similar to halo pc, but i haven't modded it in a while, you can probably find out in the halo 2 modding section.

i no how to skin the weapons but im trying to add textures like i made a cool ass ak47 and when i put it in the game its all black im trying to like make it look like a normal one and i have a glock with the texture saying glock on the side and stuff i gotta texture thing of the glock and when i injected it as a dds thing in dothalo the skin or texture was like all messed up but ill post in a new post reply the image of the glock and all my cool ass guns

are you doin this in halo pc? if so, then i suppose your replacing an existing weapon model with one you've tweaked, so that weapon's skin will just need to be edited for your skin to be in.

if this is for ce, i know there's a tutorial somewhere, but i'm not the one to ask.

im doin it in halo2 i can put the gun in the game perfecly it looks really cool but theres just no texture or skin on it

check around in the halo 2 forum, maybe they can help. i've never modded halo 2, so i dunno.
