Blitzkrieg model exporter does not work

Post by cheesey »

ok i have done everything correctly i believe , i have put the 4 nessesary .dls in the windows/system32 folder, i have then put the plugin file in the 3dsmax plugins folder.

This 3ds max blitzkrieg plugin claims it is compatible with 3ds max 6 7 and 8. i and running 3ds max 8

however when i attempt to export my map as a .jms file it does not seem to export correctly it is always 10.9 kb oblivisly to small to contain the nessesary information and when i try to compile it or whatever it is in tool the following messeage appears ....

anyone know what the problem is ?

thanks in advance , cheesey

You have what are called open edges.
Goto 3ds max and import [halo ce]\desctruction.wrl
Uncheck everything except the last option, I do believe, and goto lit wireframe view. Look for red lines on edges. Fix those up and make sure it is all sealed.

Try selecting all of your verticies and welding them, that'll fix any slopiness on your part.
