I made these skins for the marines in halo pc

I'm not what you'd call a beginner, but these skins are still pretty basic

and heres some custom reticles I'm working on, the first is for a grenade launcher type weapon, the second is for a planned rail gun/plasma rifle

finally a concept for a rifle that I made with photoshop. I know it could use more detail but I just wanted to get the general outline out so that people can ssee what they think of that.

I have actual drawings that make it look 10x better but i cant put them here because I dont have a scanner *bashes head against wall*

BTW if anyone chooses to use/be "inspired" by the gun sillhouette could you notify me/show me pics?

tell me what you think!

those reticles really look good in-game :)
the marines are sweet, but i don't like red that much :P

for the photoshop model, i think it needs more detail, and it's a bit too bulky in my opinion.

do you have a digital camera to take a pic of the drawings?

yes

for the grande launcher reticle, make the lines going down increase in how far they go down exponentially.

for example, n is the horizon line, and here's how it'd look:

line 0 = n
line 1 = n-2
line 3 = n-4
line 4 = n-8
line 5 = n-16

or some other formula, to better display a grenade's arc as it loses velocity in the same pattern.

skins look pretty clean, reticles are nice so far, but i'm not sure the one for the rail gun fits the weapon type much. as for the ps gun... yeah, it's not working out to great (both in execution and design).

well see im not the greatest modeler in the world so, i can't make it anytime soon and in ddition the trial time on 3ds max 8 is running out fast and I doubt ill get good enough to make it in.... 16 days. Now that I look at it, that ps thing i did is a piece-of-crap :? . I take back my percentages, the drawings I have make it look 200x better :D
