Gmax Face Select Tool Trouble
I was following the HEK tutorial (except with Gmax instead of 3ds Max since my trial is expired) and I noticed that whenever I go under the "modify" tab and try to use face, polygon, or element selection, the UVW mapping gets all messed up. This makes it very difficult to conform the map to textures I need to see correctly on the surface of the level in order to make changes. However, if I go back into edge/vertex selection, it goes back to normal. This occurs simply from changing from one mode to another and happens in both OpenGL, Direct3D, and Software driver options. This gets very frustrating when trying to select faces on a specific spot on a map. Here's a visual if it helps.
