Gun I made, but I cant get it into CE.

Heres the gun i made in gmax but i cant get it into ce and theres no skin cuz i couldnt figure out how to do it. can someone just put like a black skin on it and get it into ce for me. just send me an email at

Ok now to help.
1. Your smooth groups are hurting me
2. Smooth groups = me commiting suicide
3. Calm down on the smooth groups
(for real now)
4. Add more detail
5. Chamfering edges is a good way to add smoothness withought hurting ppl with smooth groups
6. Spend more time learning the program before you try to make anything for halo ce

Agreed. I'm glad that it looks like you used a reference, because the proportions at least look correct, but the details need some work.

i don't like your gun, and i don't think it's ready to be put into CE. take up a few more models and getting something that's decent before you go throwing it into CE. i think the skinning and modeling forum has a tutorial by katarn called, "gun modeling for dummies". it's a pretty good tutorial, you should check it out.
