(WIP) Dusted

Post by (THS) Btd69 »

Dusted is a map ive been working on, obviously the idea from the dust maps of cs:s (no discussion of cs:s or hl2 please) and is possibly going to be the centre of the map and is about 3/4 done. Terrain needs a bit more manipulating and the more detail needs to be added, incuding out-of-the-map details. Ok, so onto the pics :)

looks nice!

a cool final touch would be some tunnels under the place, all connecting to a big room full of merchant stands selling weapons and ammo .. the black market! i found it!

can't wait to see the texture work done on this.

Stands at 11356 polygons, and thats basically done, unloess I find it needs more detail after my ingame test. Also it will be in a sandstorm, at about 50% visibility (when I get it right :P). Update pic:

I don't think he should make it EXACTLY like CSS. Maybe similar, but with some different weapons or something, to make it more than just a CSS map for Halo, which has already been done... Like, M16 instead of M4, M24 instead of AWP, M1911 instead of one of the pistols in CSS... The advantage to this is it's less of the same. Plus I already have a tagged M16A1 that just needs skinning, which saves some work.

Are you positive that its 11356 polygons?

Because i was making a cs style map and its only 3330 polys.

Ill post some pics if you want me to.
