Every now and then, I run into a problem trying to inject a texture. I get messages like:
"Image being injected must be DXT2 or DXT3."
or
"Image being injected must be DXT1."
No matter what I do, I cannot seem to get some textures to go through. I have edited the picture, resaved (numerous times), saved as a different DXT setting, and nothing wants to work.
Is there something wrong with the DDS plugin? Am I doing something wrong?
Any help or advice would be appreciated, thanks.

Thats the problem, see when I do change it, I get one of the two messages still.
EDIT: Also, off topic (dont want to make another topic for this), I am trying something with the multipurpose of the spartan and its not coming out as expected:

The silver part is the problem. That is the area I don't want to be colored but I don't know how to do it. I made that area black (on the multipurpose skin) and it came out the same as me making it white (which is what I'm showing you in the picture above). How do I make it so the color just doesnt show up and the skin beneath it is showing uncolored?
