ok i just got done making my map :lol: my first map :P and i did the thing with tool and it put it in my map directory so it worked and pnce i started up halo it didnt appear and i even restarted my computer and it didnt appear...whats going on? :evil:

or ill say it this way it appears in the map folder but no actually in the game.....

as in, it won't show up in your list when you want to select your map? you have too many in your map folder.

Whoa, i didnt know that you could have to many. I gotta remeber that. Not like my laptop could handle one more download anyways, so what do i care.

D you have even a yourlevel.map file in your folder?

I had this happen to me once when I renamed a map file. Make sure the name u gave it when u created it is the same as the file name.

Also, if this is wrong I am sorry, because I have never made a map but I think this si right.

There's been trouble with maps not showing up in the maplist if the scenario or SBSP tags of two maps have the same name, or if two maps share a part of a name (i.e. a map named "gulch" does not show in the maplist because "bloodgulch" exists).

Rename and re-link your SBSP tag, and/or the scenario tag.
