It all goes good at the start.
I open it,
Import>Wavefront obj> my obj file.
But the file doesn't show up on the screen!
Everything works fine, but the object won't friggin load!

Are u sure it's not loading, or it's just soo small u can't see. The models are actually very tiny. Try zooming and panning to see the model. Works fine for me.

Your sure that you are zooming in all the way? Completely sure? Because that's what it looks like from long range. Atleast for me.

I zoom in holding shift+mouse.
This is the furthest I can go.

Or is there another way to zoom, further?

It says I'm not allowed to view the pic...and if you have a middle mouse button, use that if possible to zoom in.

ok this is what u do......hit select, then draw a selection box around the white dot just incase its not selected, then right click and there will be an option towards the middle that says frame selected hit that should come up, or frame all should too.

Nope, that still doesn't solve it!
How can it be???
I do have to press yes when HMT asks a question when Exporting, right?

I already have 1.7
And I already tried reinstalling.
I have Gmax, but how do I import obj files with it?

You need to click a button and then drag it to make it bigger (the button is in the top middle I think).
I dont have milkshape on this computer so I cant say where it is exactly.

edit: As for gmax, you need a plugin to import, but there isnt one for exporting. Apparently you can import it from gmax into milkshape and from milkshape to halo though.

no somthing is wrong he shouldnt need to do that in milkshape because milkshape imports them big enough in the screen

I kind of have the same problem with milkshape, but when I noticed that also in wings3d and other shaping programs it wouldnt open it had to be something with HMT3.

Also try getting obj files from others that did work see if you can open those. If so then you have exactly the same problem I have.

Conclusion: I think we are doing something wrong with HMT3

Please if you find a solution post it.
