No it doesn't matter cause you can't change the shape of the vehicle simply in CE.But in PC you can.The only way to chnage the shape is to get the vehicle model with all markers and recompile everyhting.

Yes there are tools out there. But if you want to go with the HMT method you could easily stick to pc modding.

yeah, thats true, unless you want to do it on a custom made map, which you wouldnt be able to do w/ halo pc.

remodelling for halo pc is a lot easier heres a tut i just wrote up real quick for remoddeling halo pc:

Things you need:
- Milkshape
- HMT

Now, on with the tut...
1. Open HMT.
2. Open a map w/ the model you need.
3. Go to the [mod2] Model (PC) tag category.
4 Click on the tag of the model you need.
5. Select the model you need.
6. Click Export Model.
7. Save it someplace you'll remember (like you desktop, or My Documents)
8. Open Milkshape.
9. Go to File>Import>Wavefront OBJ.
10. Click Select.
11. Make sure vertex selection is selected.
12. Move the selected as needed.
13. Repeat steps 10-12 as needed.
14. Go to File>Export>Wavefront OBJ
15. Again, save it somwhere you'll remember.
16. Go back into HMT.
17. Make sure you still have the same model selected.
18. Click Import Model.
19. Select the model that you edited in Milkshape.
20. When it asks "Import Indices Also?", click Yes.
21. Click Ok.
22. Congratulations, you have successfully Imported a new model into Halo.
23. Run Halo, and test the map (make sure that the map is closed in HMT before trying to load the map).

I hope this tut helped.
