Editing question about vehicles

I was wondering if it is possible to slightly change the shape of a vehicle ie; look at a warthog (maybe in wireframe) and add say raise the hood a little to mock a hood scoop? or add any other shape that way? then add a skin for final draft?

yeah its possible. you gotta export the model, then edit it using 3d studio max or milkshape or whatever, then inject it back into the game. My question is, why go through all the trouble for such a small change?..definitely not worth it :/

Thanx for the reply. It's worth it to me because I am changin the warthog to a certain look to release to the public that I think is tight. It only needs minor shaping to finish off the look I want. What program do I use to inject it? HMT3?

yeah, but theres 1 itty bitty thing about changing the models... the collision model doesn't change, which means that it would look as if the warthog has changed but its only an illusion... sorta... you can walk thru a modded model (well the extra parts anyway)
