idea for mapping...

although i can't make maps myself, but before I came here (which I was brought here by a very skilled modder, and a very close pesonal friend of mine that you guys may remember, Church_Sniper) I used to be a part of the (at one point) successful bungie.net group, Halo Map Makers. You may have heard about this group or maybe not. We had about 250 group members, but only about 30 were active. We had a proccess with which we would make maps. First, a 2d Artist (i was one), would make the basic design of the maps. Here is an example of my best piece of work:
also heres a legend for that design:
then this was sent to a 3d artist who would actually make. Although we werent together long enough to complete one (we did come very close, though), and the one above was planned to be our second group project. We worked very well together, and i think somebody here should atleast consider this idea
here is the original home of the group, although now it is taken over by a bunch of noobs.
