my problem is similar, except, I have tried linking everything to the reference frame... but I won't let me link the skybox to the frame... or at least it does not appear to have linked. When I selet the frame, it selects my models on the map as well, but the skybox is completely separate, and I keep clicking to link it, but it just won't. Plz, I've been working on this same problem for like 13 hours today, somebody plz help me!

i apologize in advance for the double post, but I fixed it, I just had to delete the models on my map, and the frame, then re-import the models, and recreate the frame, then re link them, and whala, it is now exported correctly! Thank you in advance for those who were gonna help, and again I am sorry for the double post!

Getting Blitzkrieg plugin in first place

I have the blitzkrieg dll files for max 5, but I don't know what to do with them in order to be able to save my map as a .jms file. If it makes a difference, I have the 3DS max 8, and it is the trial version. Plz help me with this, I'm getting desperate. :(

ok, i got the right blitzkrieg now, but when i try to put it in SYSTEM32, it says "it is being used by another person or program, please close that program and try again", so how do i work that out?

ok, sorry 'bout that, i figured out that last program glitch, but now when i save as a jms file it says there is no geometry to export, whats that about?
btw, i would like to appologize for these questions, this is my firt map modding

once again i figured that problem out, and i need to know how do u link skybox to the frame?

Mod Edit:: Please refrain from triple posting. Use the edit button next time, thank you

My recommendation:
http://www.halomods.com/index.php?topic=Tutorials

In it, kirk walks you through everything you need to do to make a simple map

I now have all of my problems resolved, but now I have an error when I try to export my map as a .jms file. When I try to export the file, it says that an error has occured and the program must shut down. I can't figure out what to do, even after I searched the Halomods forums several times to try and fix it. Anyone kno what to do?
