does it resemble g-max?
is the format n00b modeler friendly?

well it doesn't really reasemble gmax because it shows one perspective in the main window and the others in smaller windows but I think it's fairly easy to figure out and comes with tutorials.

bah, research before posting!, uhhhh to tell u guys, true space is a waste of time, if u ever want to model or animate do not learn on it, its just really bad, u have to navigate around by buttons with pics on them, it has nothing for reactors, good effects, and is not user friendly, if u dont care about modeling or animating later in life and just want to do halo right now then id say fine whatever have fun but trust me, its a sad program

uhhh truespace costs money, all u are doing here is stealing it by puttting in a serial number.

No Caligari sends you a serial number for an old version (they're on version 6 right now) of truespace. Caligari sends it to you in an e-mail but then you get a whole bunch of e-mail from them to buy their latest product, so it's a promotional tool. They know anyone who was serious about modelling would buy 6 and not settle for 3.2 which is what they give you free.
edit: I have to agree truespace is crap it keeps freezing i think i'm going to download Maya PLE (which is free too for non commercial applications) so people don't download it unless you want a barrel full of frustration and crap. Thank you and good morning.
