3dsmax help (what did i do)

3dsmax help (what did i do)

i was moving things around in max, like normal. then out of the blue, my crosshairs dissappear. max then crashes, then i re load the program. i test- create a box, activate the move..... no crosshairs.
any way on how to fix it?
