You need Halo Custom Edetion (Halo:CE), the Helo Editing Kit (HEK), Gmax or 3DS max, and Photo Shop or someting similar.

(noob question) ok is it possible to use milkshade 3D to map or to model? cus i used that to make a model of a fuel complex or the whol thing can be a map. so can it be used to map make or model make or both?

I know people who have done it; however, you will have to ask someone else I have no experiance with any thing other than Gmax and 3DS Max. :wink:

Yes you can, Tom. However, 3ds Max or Gmax give you much more flexability with modeling, making it much easier and will produce an all around better product once you get the hang of it. Also, if you use Milkshape, you will have to export the map to open in 3ds Max or Gmax in order to export it as a JMS to get ingame.

Tool/CMD.exe

Copy it into your Halo Custom Edition Root Directory which is:

C/Programs Files/Microsoft Games/Halo Custom Edtion

You can find it in this folder:

C/WINDOWS/System32

it is called cmd.exe
