3DS Max Help PLZ - Merging Faces

lets say i have 2 faces or more, with an edge in the middle. how do i merge them? edge is separating the 2 faces.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean, but if I do, you can just delete the edge.

DON'T delete the edge. you need to choose that edge and hit backspace on your keyboard. or you can just target weld vertices.

Do the backspace thingy cause welding in that case gives halo an error.

no it doesn't. i haven't had any problems from target welding.

all i need to kno is how to make 1 giant grid 1 face, and the backspace does nothing for me.

make the sections 1 by 1... so there are no grids.

i was gonna do that. i will try, though there are sealing bugs with creation geometry. (that i gotta debug)
