Converting BTM to DXT 1

Is there any way to make say a hog skin back into a DXT 1 format? My photoshop ran out and now i used a pic converter to make it a bitmap then back to .dds but i cant inject it with dot halo.

google DXTBmp, thats what i use. it convert to any dxt .

convim can only convert back to a dxt 1, you need another program to do the rest, i use convim to convert to a jpeg then dtxbmp to convert back to a dxt.

no, you cant convert jpeg to dxt's over 1.

im sure he'll want to do more after the hog, but yeah if thats all he is going to do the convim will work i think.
