How do I go about UVW mapping and UVW unwrapping in Gmax? I don

um.... click on teh object u want to show the skin, then goto editable mesh, and highlight the whole object in polygon select mode. then goto modifiers tab ^ UVW map

Don't you think I already know that

? I have mapped everything, unwrapped most of the textures, and still have not had a single texture that acted as if it was planer mapped allong the z axis, which it is not!
I will have images of my level up soonner or later.

Try adjusting the 'U' 'V' 'W' things to '5'. It will tile it differently. Also make the UVW Map a box if your level is an indoor level because it will probably be box like so it will tile it like a box.
