halo 2 turret removal

how do you remove the turrets off the hog for halo 2? ive only found tut for halo 1. do you just null somthing?

What you can do is just replace the object for say a gun.
The gun will just fall off when you drive and you wont have the turret.

well you could if you knew how to model

just take off the turrent in a 3d modeler like 3ds max.

ps - i dont know to switch caps lock off

null out the bitmap and shaders for the turret. Ive dont this many times. Personally i like making the whole hog invisable so your driving air.

i nulled all the shaders that said turret, but they still show up. how do i null the bitmap? it doesnt give me the option.

go to the weapons tag and go to the chaingun and null out the hlmt and do the same for the gauss

yeah i just seen that in another post. im tring that now.

thanks that worked, but i still cant get my skin to inject, any ideas?

omg dont listen to them the chaingun's in the vehicle tag null out the hlmt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i'm gonna make halo 2 civie hog tags soon.
when i'm done, all you are going to have to do is re-skin them.
(these ones are going to be public release)
(i have the models. i'll use h2_coag's sounds for the warthog)

You could null out collision model and model for the turet. Then give it the same seat name as the banshee driver. I think that works. If it does it will make im lay down on his stomach

in insolence u can change the permutation to troop in the vehc. Then everyone can c the turretless hog.
