Ok guys.

I have made a skin for a vehicle before and it worked fine but that was a long time ago. I am trying to reskin my hogs in HaloPC. I have saved the textures and opened them with Photoshop and the .dds plugin choosing not to use mipmaps when opening. I made my changes saved using 1 Bit Alpha (DXT1), No Mip Map.

I injected the texture using HMT and it injects fine. i go play the game and the only time you can see the changes are when ;you are right beside the vehicle otherwise it shows the normal hog skin. what is up with it? what have i done wrong? can anyone offer some suggestions?

It does this for both the hog skin and the hog tire skin i made. it is kicking my ass and pissing me off.

You Have to enable mipmap when you save it

Generate; you made a new one, so why use the old ones?

Ok, I generated Mip Map and used 1Bit Alpha but it still doesnt appear untill you are very close to the vehicle. WHat is up with that. Has anyone else had anything similar to that happen to them?

that cause there are 5 models in halo. One undetailed and then they get more detailed. The most detail one appears when you are in the near of it.So you have to edit all 5 of them.

uhh , how would you do that when there is only one entry for warthog skins. when you open the bitmap you are supposed to select "no" for use existing mip maps. then you save using 1bit alpha and generate bitmaps. is that not correct???
