HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

Ok guys i need some help, every time i try to skin external bitmap files on 'containment' it never shows the skins and i cant skin warthog's and materials like that and i have no clue what's going on. So can some one help if you dont mind?

ok einstein im not stupid i know how to skin, but for some reson i cant skin external bitmap internal is fine it works all the time but external is being gay.

it just wont apply skins i put into the external bitmap it stays the same as the original already in the game.

sorry for asking but whats the external bitmap, the sky?

try saving it as a different dxt

Try to clear your cache, that will work

ok guys i really do appreicate the help i did delete the cache files and i did change the file type or what ever and what i mean by external bitmap is likes of (Warthog_standard) and things like that, every time i make a skin for it i save it in the right file i do every thing right but when i put it back onto the xbox the skins are the same as the original it's like they never change and im really getting p****d off with this. I seroiusly have no idea what im doing wrong?

P.S. The files that im trying to edit i need the shared.map if that helps?

did you put it in shared.map as well as another map because you have to do that the ftp them both over then delete the stuff in you x,y and z folders
