Base modeling tutorial?

Hi I'm looking for a tutorial that seems to have disappeared from existance.
It's at a website that has many tutorials that I can't seem to find anymore.
In the tutorial section a few I can remember are hover craft tutorial, animation tutorial with a picture of a floating white ball in the picture box, and
a base modeling tutorial. These were really helpful but when I try to click my download(the one I had downloaded before) it says that they were moved, deleted, or renamed since I last viewed them. If anyone can give me a good tutorial of how to edit a base I'd apreciate it. (I searched google already)
