need a few mesurements

ok can some tell me maybe just a estimate of what the sizes of the skybox should be for this map (*basics 5000units by 5000units or more*)

Change the type of your generic units in max to inches - that's what gearbox used (Preferences->Units Setup)
That way 1 Unit = 1 Inch = 2.5cm
and 1 meter = 40 Inches = 40 units

Now it is up to you to calculate the lengths you desire
