Master Cheif is external but i want him internal!!

Can someone please tell me how to change my masterchief to internal so i can make skins for him. People tell me to use hex but i dont know what do from there. Someone help. Also i dont play much campaign but could someone tell me what level has black marines? Thanks a lot.
