need help with modeling

Ok i used some tutorials on this forum got some progress done but i am a noob to modeling and get stuck on stuff so does any one no any really easy tuts i can start on and kinda work my way up.

PS: I have 3dsm 7

hard to explain i just dont no how to use 3dsm max like i was making a mp5 and the tutorial said to do somthing and i had no clue what it was talking about
