I am a real N00b

. This is my first attempt at making a map in Gmax. I am using Gmax and Photoshop but other than that have followed the tutorials. I have made my skybox, but whenever I try to add my texture to it, I find the texture does not look like my drawing. It is only half of my texture and all the colours are strange. The yellows are green, the greens are purple

. I have got it slightly better by setting the paintbrush hardness to 100% but it still looks crap. Please help me, and if this is a n00b question feel free to flame, but please just help me.

Maybe I'm wrong..I mean this hasn't ever happened to me before. Anyway what might be happening is you left it compressed or it is saved as a different file then it should be or maybe your graphic card just sucks.

No I followed the tutorial perfectly and I have a good Graphics card. The only difference is the programs I use.

I make my bitmaps in photoshop and I made my first map with Gmax. Your programs arn't the problem it's your map/bitmaps/or graphics card
