skinning help

I am wondering how to get a vehicle into photoshop/fireworks to skin, I have looked for a tutorial but am too lazy to look any farther.
how is it done? if you aren't willing to help me at least post the link to an appropriate tutorial.

go to the hog bitmap in hmt and click export file open it in photoshop and save it as a dds if you have the plugin

no need for a tut it simple just search on google dds plugin for photoshop download it put in the plugin folder under file formats and there you go

I would like to do the same thing, but I haven't had any luck with dds plugins search on google. Could someone do a quick search and leave a link?
