Hello all. I have come over from halo2files to learn a bit more about map making and the such. But let me get straight to the point, I've made a map in GMAX but am having issues with it. The main one is no matter how many times I flip the edges that keep popping up in Tool.exe as open, they dont stay closed, thus i cannot actually get the map into scenario and therefore a playable format. Thus I ask for 2 kinds of assistance:

1. Some1 who'd be willing to fix the GMAX file so tool.exe will stop saying theres open edges.....
2. Beta testers who'd be willing to test the map

First of all, I can't even see the map. It's too small of a pic. Second, I know tool is annoying but there isn't anything wrong with it. There is also nothing wrong with Gmax, I used it to create my first map.
Also you probably will do this but test it yourself first, then ask for help from other people.

>_< sry ill resive the pic so u can c it.... 2ndly, i realize that tool.exe is working fine. Let me rephase my problem, no matter how many times i fix one problem in GMAX (open edges, z-buffer stuff, degenerate triangles, etc.) another 6 problems pop up. This is why im askin for help on fixing the gmax max map model so i can get it into a scenrio already and finsh/test the darned thing.

Also I'm not a genius with this type of thing but I'll see what I can do. As for the open edges, I don't understand what you mean by "flip"ing the edges.
If you get an open edge error you delete the faces where the edges are and re-create them(99% sure). Maybe I'm misunderstanding you I don't know..
