HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

i am trying to skin i found a converter so i can edit skins, but when i load them into hmt it says the image needs to be dxt2 or dxt3.is there a way to convert it to that

ok open it up in photo shop if you have the dds plugin, http://www.halomods.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=4192

then once you open it up in adobe photoshop or paintshop pro, you save it as a DDS. File. when you save it as a DDS file, save it as a DDS DXT1(1 BIT ALPHA) thats the second on in the list or save as DXT2 if you want and thats it.
