Changing the First Person Arms

I exported the Elites Arms in hopes of replacing the Cyborg First Person model with them in Damnation. For this to effectively work, the Vertices and Indices must be the same. How do I edit the Elite Arm Model to make the Vertices and Indices match the Cyborg FP Model?

The Globals of Halo have a selection of the Cyborg FP Arms. They are a specially designed, and specially rigged version of a model, only to work in FP.
The only Elite arms I've seen are the ones that were custom made (such as the ones in Cold Rush).

The models of the Covenant are not made whole. I took the Elite Arms and were going to redesign them so that they would work as First Person.
Understand, they are the third person model, but I am thinking if modeled correctly, I can make them work as first person.
