how do I change the model on vehicles?

Whoever posted on the topic "How do I rig vehicles and weapons" DONT SAY ANYTHIING here cuase u guys did jacksquat to help. unless ur gunna actualy tell me how to model(And I dunt want an explaination SUNNY I dunt even know wut u said on the other topic! ).....................
How do I change the model on vehicles and weapons and stuff? Like theres a mod on this forum were a guy made the hog be a plane, how do I do that kinda stuff? plz help. need tut. EDIT: O ya and dunt post stuff thats off topic! I've had problems with ppl going off topic. So plz give me a tut on how to change the models on things

NOT CUSTOM VEHICLES!!!!! changing the model of an allready made vehicle. This has nuthin to do with CE

try using milkshape to edit the models you extract using hmt, there's a way to do it with 3ds max, but i don't know where to get the plugin

hey thanx.anyone know were I can get a free full version of milk shape? Or that plugin that Z was talkin about?

and the other tzhing is.Well hmt is for pc maps.You can open Haloce maps and change vehicles when they don

yeah sure...... but umm I just found out that all it does is copy what u select and moves it. it doesent realy change the model! and you can walk through it! so all it is is just makin it look pretty, so I dont know how to realy do it sry.... but any way (to extract the model)just go to "models" in HMT choose a model it might say more than one structure in there so choose the veary top one and extract and hit yes for the promt. now in milkshape hit file>import>wavefront.object. choose the model you just extracted and it should show in the viewports, now do whatever you wanna do to it and hit file>export>wavefront.object (just name it the same name it came with and overwrite the origanal) and go bak into hmt go into models then import and choose ur model and hit yes for the import indicies promt then save. and just play ur map and there ya go. one weird model that you can walk through :roll:.It would be veary helpfull if somone gave me a link to dl the 3dsmax plugin.
