Making something transparent in Photoshop?

Hi,

I'm working on a skin and it requires part of it to be transparent.

How do I make something transparent in Photoshop?

Not Opacity of a layer, but transparent so you see through it in the game.

its not difine in photoshop.Its later in the shaders

find the cyro glass level/a10/cyro glass copy the meta tag and paste it over the part of the vehicle say it was the chaingun go to vehicles/wharthog/chaingun and paste it over that ones m eta tag then save it
