Hello there. I'm relatively new to halo pc modding but not very new. I'm just getting in to skinning and I made some cool skins but some of them were not so cool... And well I forgot to backup the skins so now im stuck with a crappy pistol skin and a crappy ghost skin. If someone would please take the time to get me the pistol .dds file and the ghost .dds file I would very much appreciate it. (By the way this is for halo 1 not 2).

I'd rather not because im very far in the game... I'd really like to just change the skins back and be done with it.

Put your Halo CD in and go to My Computer, Right click on the Halo cd and say open. Now, go into te folder Filescab. Open Cab4.cab and take the fresh bitmaps.map.

Wrong thread to ask in.
The data files are used whhen you are compiling a map.

if you reinstall, it wont delete saved games, it will only reinstall any corrupt files so you should be safe in doing that.
