Below is a question about mapping for halo 2.

Would it be possible to model my maps in maya instead of 3dsMax? or maybe even model them in maya and import them to 3dsmax?

Yes i think mits possible.Export as obj and import as oibj in 4ds max

are the video tutorials for 3dsmax mapping for xbox halo 2? :)

I didnt no u could "map" for halo 2 yet ? I thought it was only possible for halo custom edition !

no its only for halo ce and halo ce is for pc. halo 2 modeling isnt out yet.
