I've just started rendering my Halo 2 MC model and it's going pretty well...
However, the one problem with the skinning is that the visor isn't shiny...The bitmap looks pretty good but I don't know how to make the visor look more like the one in game....here's a picture.

***I would post the picture here but it only show up as

***

-Ok, press M (material editor)
-Change the Standard (its a button, just click on it to change it) to Raytrace
-Click on the tick next to Reflect, and you can then change the reflective value, change it to about.. 20.
-Click on the box to the right of diffuse and select "Bitmap" then choose the bitmap image for the visor.
Then drag the material from the material editor window onto the actual mesh of the visor.

seems like you are kinda pulling focus away from his topic. Nice job doing that there buddy.
Don't let it happen again, no need for the video either.

ok, here's the settings that i'm using, with the important stuff in red:
Make sure your maps match the picture below and remember the specular and glossiness levels
Here is the difuse color map settings
Here is the bump map settings (i like the camo bump the most)
Here is the reflection map settings, notice that it is a Mix map
Here is the "Color #1" Map settings from within the reflection map settings, notice it is a raytrace
Here is the "Mix Amount" map from the reflection map settings
